Last night Lil Shine began his FareWell tour here in his home state of Minnesota. When I saw the venue of choice, I thought “Huh. I feel like that’s an underestimation”

and I was right.

Packed from wall to wall, and spilling out of the entrance, this show couldn’t have been a better homecoming for Lil Shine. If you asked him I’m certain he’d say the same, as he was rarely seen NOT smiling last night.

This really felt like a vintage Minneapolis showing, with other local talent appearances such as Matt Proxy. The energy never let up, and no song went unsung by the overly enthusiastic crowd. This show was a great reminder of the talent Minnesota harbors.

My only complaint is that we can’t run it back again.
